Life Skills
Many of our individuals benefit from participating in our short courses. These sessions blend individual-led and facilitated learning and aim to enhance individuals’ quality of life.
Our courses focus on personal development and skill-building aimed at empowering independence and confidence and increasing individuals’ ability to enhance their lifestyle as they choose.
Courses currently available include, but are not limited to:

- Health, Wellness and Nutrition

Our courses are free to eligible participants and can be offered at our training facilities or in the community. We are also happy to deliver to groups of all sizes.
Cross Disability Support Service (CDSS)
Cosmos is proud to announce our new navigation system for adults with disabilities. This new program seeks to help adults with disabilities connect with services in their community.
Examples of some of the services include: referrals to skills-based training programs, facilitating life planning and goal setting, assisting with access to income support, referrals to volunteer opportunities, assistance accessing adaptive equipment and more.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Living with a Disability (must provide medical proof)
- 18 Years or Older
- Residing in Alberta
- Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Seeking Information and Disability-Related Supports
